Music For Everyone is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization that aims to provide musical instruments and music lessons to low income families in the Spokane area. Thanks to sponsorships, donations and grants we are able to make a difference in kids lives.
In 1990, Music For Everyone founder Roy Jackson, a musician and guitar instructor, started Learn To Burn School of Music. Learn To Burn has grown into Spokane’s premier music instruction studio with professional instructors that offer lessons in guitar, bass, piano, keys, vocals and drums, along with steel guitar, fiddle, banjo, mandolin, home recording and more.
After participating in a project with KHQ TV that provided inexpensive guitars to some of Spokane’s youth in 2012, it began a journey that would become Music For Everyone. He knew he was in a unique position to take on such a program. He quickly used his many connections to develop a team of talented and inspired people that became the organizations board of directors.
“Music lessons can be expensive, and I know how much music has changed and energized my life. It’s time to give back!” ~ Roy
The board has drafted, submitted and been shown approval for their 501(c)(3) certification and are looking forward to the Kickoff Event at The Knitting Factory in Spokane, WA on March 22nd, 2014.
